SB Order No 12/2015 : Mandatory use/opening of Savings Account in CBS Post Offices

S B Order No. 12 / 2015 : Mandatory use/opening of Savings Account in CBS Post Offices for maintaining/development of relationship of customers with POSB-Regarding


  1. For availing the benefits of Services provided by CBS offices Directorate issued orders to open SB account as Mandatory as per SB order 12/2015. 
  2. All the new customers are requested to open new SB accounts for performing transactions in CBS offices and for existing customers requested to check whether KYC submitted to CPC to avail the benefits of different channels of DOP. 
The following benefits can be availed by the customers of CBS offices they are
  • Instant withdrawal and view of all Financial transactions under one Passbook/Statement. 
  • Instant issue of ATM cum Debit card at FREE of cost 
  • Instant issue of Cheque book at FREE of cost 
  1. No annual maintenance charges for ATM cards and cheque books 
  2. SMS alerts for transactions like withdrawals,funds transfer and deposits. 
  3. Advance SMS alerts for accounts/certificates maturing in order to remind the customers about the deposits existing in DOP.
Deposits/Withdrawals/Transfer of accounts and closures of other offices can be availed at FREE of cost and also instantly not to delay the transactions.
New channels in DOP such as Internet banking and Mobile banking can be availed at FREE of cost.

    our branch not support any kind .only discorreg agent and not work properly .staaf have no knolege of online work and all custermars and agent harresment by post staff olease help
